Two pedestrians hurt after crash at pelican crossing in Hathern This is Leicestershire -- Two pedestrians were injured in a crash at a pelican crossing in Hathern, Leicestershire. The crash involved a silver Ford Fiesta and the two pedestrians at a pelican crossing near to the Anchor Inn on the A6 Derby Road. Both pedestrians were taken to the Queen's Medical Centre, in Nottingham, for treatment to their injuries. One person has since been discharged, the other remains in hospital in a stable condition. The crash happened at about 4.40pm on Friday, December 13, 2013. Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward. Pc Paul Snelling said: "We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have been stationary in the northbound lane at the pelican crossing at the time of the collision, or witnessed the incident. "Any information could help so please get in touch."
