![Pedestrians had to jump out of car's way before crash in Filton, Bristol]()
This is Bristol -- POLICE are trying to trace two people who had to jump out of the way of a car before it crashed into a bike. Officers say the gold BMW collided with a cyclist near the Esso/Tesco Express petrol station on Gloucester Road North in Filton, in the early hours of yesterday morning. Police say the cyclist, a 43-year-old man, was not injured in the crash but his bike was driven over and damaged beyond repair. A 60-year-old woman was arrested in connection with the incident and later released on police bail, pending further enquiries. Officers say they particularly want to trace two pedestrians who, police have been told, needed to jump out of the way of the same car shortly before the crash, which happened just after midnight. They also want to hear from anyone else who was in the area at the time and may have seen the incident or believes they have information which could be relevant to the case. Anyone with information should call PC Helen Bennett at Staple Hill police station on 101.
