This is Lincolnshire -- A woman has died following a crash on the A46 at Collingham, on the Lincoln-bound carriageway. Police were called to the scene at Potter Hill Road, where it meets the A46 at 12.40pm today. Two cars were involved and the driver of one vehicle died at the scene. The driver of the other vehicle is not thought to be seriously injured but was taken to Lincoln County Hospital as a precaution. The road was closed between Newark and Lincoln until 6:30pm while police carried out their investigation. Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the vehicles driving prior to the crash to contact them quoting incident number 000281 of January 14.
