This is Leicestershire -- Survivors and relatives of victims of the Kegworth air crash gathered in the village today to mark the 25th anniversary of the disaster. Prayers were said in St Andrew's Church in the village for the 47 people who lost their lives when the Boeing 737 crashed on an embankment alongside the M1, narrowly missing the village. Jim Mulholland, 69, of Belfast, was at the service with several family members to remember 21-year-old son David, who died in the crash while returning from a job interview in London. "One of the last things my son would have seen would have been the spire of this church, that is why it's important to be here today," he said. A retired military officer who survived the crash, who asked not to be named, said he felt grateful to the people of Kegworth.
