This is South Devon -- FIRE crews were called to a crash on the main A38 near South Brent early on Christmas Day. The accident happened just before 1am on the eastbound A38 between Marley Head and Rattery. The Fire Service received a call from a passing Fire Officer reporting a road traffic collision. One fire appliance from Buckfastleigh, one fire appliance from Ivybridge and one fire appliance from Ashburton were mobilised. Upon arrival, fire crews confirmed a three vehicle road traffic collision on the public highway. All persons were free and clear of the vehicles. Fire crews made the vehicles safe and left the incident in the hands of Police and Ambulance.
