![M5 northbound closed after serious crash in Devon]()
This is Somerset -- The M5 has been closed for a second time today, after a serious crash on the northbound carriageway in North Devon. There are reports of people trapped in vehicles and fire crews are are at the scene, between junctions 27 (Tiverton) and 26 (Wellington). Traffic is queuing back to Junction 28. Police suggest the road may be closed for some time, with a diversion in place on the A38. The northbound motorway was closed earlier today in North Somerset, after a crash between Clevedon and Portishead. It was reopened at noon.
