This is Nottingham -- Three people have died after a serious road accident in Mansfield Woodhouse. The incident happened in Debdale Lane at around 9.50pm on Friday. Police believe three vehicles were involved in the crash, which resulted in three people being pronounced dead at the scene. Notts Fire and Rescue Service said three other people were taken to hospital after they sustained serious injuries. Fire crews from Mansfield, Edwinstowe, Warsop and Tuxford were at the scene for around 90 minutes and had to free one person from the wreckage. Debdale Lane is currently closed at the junctions with Sherwood Rise and Burlington Drive while officers carry out an investigation. Further updates will be issued once police have completed searches of the crash scene and family members of those involved have been contacted.
