This is Bath -- A 25-year-old woman was taken to Frenchay Hospital after a car crash north of Bath near Wick last night. The Bath Road, between the A420 and the junction with Freezinghill Lane, was closed until 7.30pm while emergency crews dealt with the incident. The call came in at 3.45pm reporting that a car had rolled over close to the entrance to Tracy Park Hotel and Golf Club. Police, ambulances and the fire brigade attended the scene, as the patient was trapped in the vehicle. At 4.20pm police decided to close the road so firefighters could work to free the woman. She was taken to hospital just after 5pm, but the road remained closed until 7.30pm because of the clear-up operation. The woman's injuries were not thought to be life-threatening. The road closure caused major delays for people trying to get out of Bath last night, with queues building up down Lansdown all evening.
