This is Lincolnshire -- A 16-year-old boy remains in intensive care after a moped collided with a car on the B1196, Hanby Lane, Welton Le Marsh on Wednesday. A white Rieju moped and a red Renault Megane collided at around 5.40pm on September 11. The moped rider, a 16-year-old boy from Burgh Le Marsh, was taken to Boston Pilgrim Hospital and later transferred to the Queens Medical Centre with leg, pelvic and chest injuries. He underwent surgery and remains in intensive care. Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to get in contact with them. Anyone with any information should call PC Gared Thorp of the Roads Policing unit via the collision hotline 01522 558855 quoting incident number 310 of September 11.
