A 40-YEAR-OLD man who died in a motorcycle crash on the A52 has been named as Owen Pilkington. The collision occurred on the A52 Painters Lane between Osmaston and Brailsford at 9pm on Friday. The white Honda motorcycle, which was travelling from Ashbourne, is believed by police to have lost control near the junction of Hall Lane before it was in collision with a grey Land Rover Freelander.
