A car left the road and went down a 30-metre ravine in Combe Martin this afternoon. Police, paramedics and fire crew went to the crash on the A399 near Leigh Manor shortly before 4 pm. It was initially reported the car's occupants were trapped and the fire service was called. But ambulance control confirmed they were out of the vehicle as the crew was on its way. The car's occupants were treated by paramedics.
