The inquest into the M5 crash that killed seven people and injured 51 in November 2011, has heard that smoke from a firework display was not the cause. The crash, which involved 34 vehicles on the southbound carriageway of the M5 near Taunton, happened at 8.20pm, just five minutes after a £3,000 fireworks display ended 200ft away at Taunton rugby club.
