![Paraglider airlifted after 40ft cliff plunge]()
A PARAGLIDER was airlifted to hospital after crashing 40ft onto rocks at Labrador beach, near Shaldon. The Teignmouth coastguard rescue team, inshore lifeboat and the coastguard rescue helicopter from Portland were alerted to the crash at 2.37pm yesterday. The rescue was co-ordinated by Brixham Coastguard. The paraglider was treated for a suspected broken leg and taken to Torbay hospital for treatment.
