A MAN accused of causing the death of a pedestrian has been sent to the crown court. Mohammad Irfan, aged 42, of Rushton Road, Cobridge, appeared before magistrates today charged with causing the death of 26-year-old Shaun Hodgkinson by careless driving and driving a vehicle with an insufficient tyre tread.
