A MOTORCYCLIST in his mid-20s was taken to hospital with various serious, but not life threatening,injuries after a collision with a car in London Road, Thornton Heath this afternoon (Sunday). The collision occurred at 3.40pm outside Croydon University Hospital. A police spokesman said at 5.25pm that part of London Road, near the scene, was still closed while the accident was cleared up. The road was expected to reopen soon. He added that no arrests had been made.
