A WOMAN who was killed in a collision on the North Devon link road at the weekend has been named. Penelope Woolaway, 67, from Appledore, was involved in a crash on the A39 near Westleigh Barnstaple on Saturday. She was declared dead at the scene while her husband remains in a coma. Mrs Woolaway was driving a Ford Ka towards Bideford which collided with a VW Sirroco going in the opposite direction at around 1.30pm. A man travelling in the Sirroco was taken to North Devon District Hospital...
