This is Leicestershire -- A motorist has been treated in hospital for injuries sustained in a car crash. Crews from Melton fire station were called to assist paramedics dealing with a woman hurt in the crash near Saxby, east of Melton. It happened in Wymondham Road, close to its junction with the B676, yesterday. A fire service spokeswoman said: "We got the call at 12.40pm, with initial reports suggesting the woman was trapped inside the vehicle. "It turned out paramedics had been unsure about moving her due to her injuries, but in the end she was able to walk with help to a waiting ambulance." The casualty was taken to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre. It is not known how badly she was hurt. Fire control received a stop message from crews at 1.10pm.
