This is Somerset -- A 49-year-old man died in Somerset last night following a three-car crash at Turnpike Cross on the A356 between the A303 and Crewkerne. The collision, which happened at around 5pm, involved a Vauxhall Corsa, a Renault Scenic and a Ford Transit van. The driver of the Corsa, a man from the local area, died in the collision. A 29-year-old man, passenger in the Transit van, was taken to Yeovil District Hospital after suffering a dislocated shoulder and back injuries. Avon & Somerset Police are appealing for witnesses.
